Food Services

Our Foods Services Department maintains strict compliance with the Policy of the SB 19 Bill that mandates nutritional standards for our students' meals.  The District's Wellness Policy is available for viewing on this website under the Board Policies, BP 5030.

Daily offerings include a variety of pizza, made-to-order deli sandwiches, a salad bar with an array of fresh toppings, grilled items, and an ever-changing selection of ethnic cuisine.  We are also partners with local farmers to provide fresh seasonal produce as part of our students' meals.  Meal prices are $3.00 for lunch and $2.00 for breakfast.

Our district participates in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program which provides breakfast and lunch at no cost to eligible students.  Our district does not charge for reduced price meals.  Applications are available from each school's cafeteria and the community liaison.  Click on the "TITAN Student Account" link below to applying online  - the quickest way to submit an application and then 24-48 hours after you can click on the "Online Status" link to get the results.  Households are automatically eligible for free meals if they are recipients of services through CalWorks, Food Stamps, or FDPIR.  Migrant Education and Foster students are also automatically eligible.  Students that are are registered at school as Homeless (including temporarily/permanently doubled up families) are also eligible. 

All of our Districts' food service sites utilize a computerized point of sale system to help avoid any overt identification of free/reduced meal program eligibility.

Please note:  to receive benefits a new Application for Free or Reduced-Price Meals must be submitted EACH SCHOOL YEAR.
