All textbook adoption forms must be accompanied by the textbook being requested for adoption.  The Department Chair and Principal from the school site must sign the form. With all signatures on the form, it is assumed that both Department Chairs and Administration approve of the textbook.

Textbooks are required to meet the state core standards requirement, be in the appropriate priority (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies must have standards-based texts in that priority order), and be grade appropriate in calibration and in the case of a different textbook other than the schools, it must meet the requirements of equal access as outlined in Title IX.
