PVHS Ag Industry Certificates back button

The Pioneer Valley High School Agriculture Department is pleased to recognize more than 160 students who earned 175 industry certifications during the 2017-2018 academic year.

Through an intensive certification program, the students gained essential career skills in various Career and Technical Education (CTE) subject areas that will promote a successful transition to postsecondary education and the workforce.

The students completed comprehensive on-line quizzes in a variety of industry pathways, according to Hector Guerra, Panther Agriculture Teacher. The industry areas are sponsored by large corporations and are available to Ag students through a special program.

Principal Shanda Herrera and Assistant Principal Greg Dickinson said the students and staff deserve the recognition for their “hard work and dedication.”
