An award-winning magician has a show that shouldn’t be missed inside the historic Ethel Pope Auditorium at 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 21.
Anthony Hernandez, who graduated from RHS in 1994 after attending Guadalupe schools, plans to give the audience a night of magic, comedy, and illusion. He has performed at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood and many other venues.
Half of the ticket sales are earmarked for the SMHS Marching Band.
Band Director Samantha Quart said the additional funds will offset costs for educational trips and necessities.
“We fundraise all year, but this will also help us buy music, shoes, gloves and fix instruments,’’ Quart added.
The “family friendly” show is for all ages and will be presented in English and Spanish. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets are available from band students, the SMHS business office and online.
