Nearly 200 RHS seniors recently explored and completed UC, CSU and junior college applications, scholarships and financial aid packages.

Warrior School Counselors, EAOP College Site Coordinator Alma Miranda and Career Center Specialist Daniel Solis staffed the learning environment.

“The lab hours were key in helping me put the finishing touches on my college applications,’’ said senior Celia Gaxiola.

The UC deadline ended last week, but the CSU application process was extended to December 15th to accommodate those affected by wildfires, according to School Counselor Jose Pereyra.

“I am happy that many students took advantage of this opportunity,’’ Miranda said. “It’s important that schools provide a space where students are supported during this potentially stressful time of college applications. I am very proud of all the students that participated.’’
