Righetti softball standout Katie Barbarick will continue to hit home runs on and off the field at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA., next year.

Barbarick plans to sign a letter of intent at 3:15 p.m. on November 13 (Friday) inside the high school cafeteria, according to Athletic Director Joe Graack.

“I am looking forward to representing our school on the east coast,’’ Barbarick said. “I am very excited to be given the privilege to continue my education and softball career at Holy Cross. This amazing opportunity is something that I have been working towards since I was 9-years-old.’’

The Righetti senior also credited pitching Coach Tracy Davis for “pushing her to improve and excel” and her family for their unconditional support to pursue her dreams”.
