The PVHS Bands will be busy this week spreading the joy of music.
The Panthers plan to kick off the musical journey during the Winter Choral Celebration at 6:30 p.m. inside the cafeteria tonight (Dec. 8). The concert features the concert choir, soloists and the jazz choir. Admission is $2.
“The community will be entertained, inspired and moved,’’ said student Isriel Cambronero. Bella Aguilar agreed, adding “They will hear and see dedicated performers who have worked hard to achieve their voice in music.’’
On Friday (Dec. 11), the school’s Winter Concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the gym. A $5 donation is suggested and kids less than 10-years-old are free. The concert features the Panther PRIDE Marching and Panther Jazz Bands with 105 outstanding student musicians.
On Saturday (Dec. 12), the marching band will perform in the Orcutt Christmas Parade.
