Panther Forum for Parents back button

Panther Parents can get engaged in Pioneer Valley High School at a community gathering on Tuesday evening, December 15.

The new “Panther Forum for Parents” series will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. inside the campus library, 675 Panther Drive.

School personnel plan to provide information about events, parent resources, counseling, student assistance, community services and support from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The open forum takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

“While PVHS has many opportunities for parents to stay connected to the school, parents requested to have an informal setting where they can bring their concerns and questions to school personnel,’’ Herrera said. “Panther Forum for Parents” will be a unique collaboration time where school & community issues can be discussed, resources shared and solutions reached. We look forward to being available to parents and working together in our school and community.”

Three additional meetings are scheduled for February, April and May. The future topics will include responsible social media usage, distracted driving, drug awareness and any follow-up information that is requested.

Parents are also welcome to submit questions in advance.

For more information, please contact Mrs. Herrera’s Office at 922-1305, ext. 5702.
