Steven Cervantes has become proficient in the area of Agriculture Mechanics Design and Fabrication through FFA programs at PVHS.

Cervantes has completed a level of study involving Ag mechanical skills at an internship through his dad’s business, Shorty’s Welding. He will be receiving the honor at the State FFA Convention in April.

At the State level, the young man will undergo an interview and other testing to hopefully qualify for the National Finals. There are almost 50 different areas that are represented in the National FFA Organization proficiency division, all of which can be applied to future careers.

“PV FFA is very proud of Steven as he represents our high school and the Pioneer Valley way!’’ according to Gabriel Ponce of the school’s FFA.
