PVHS Panther Pals Welcome Dance back button

PVHS student leaders plan to hold a “Panther Pals Welcome Dance” for incoming severely handicapped students from Kunst (Tommie) Junior High School on Wednesday, April 12th.

The dance, which is designed help the new students get to know their school and allow them to make some friends, will take place from 9 a.m. to noon inside the cafeteria.

“The Student Council at PVHS has always been a great supporter of the students with severe disabilities at Pioneer Valley High School,’’ said Special Education Teacher Mr. Jody Dowell. “This dance will provide students a chance to socialize and celebrate with their school age peers in the district. Student Council members and their teacher Mrs. Lisa Walters will be demonstrating Panther Pride!’’

This is the third year that student leaders and Activity Director Mrs. Walters have hosted the dance.
