Delta High School’s third annual student recognition ceremony and talent show will take place on Wednesday night, May 23.

The event, which features 89 awardees, kicks off at 7:30 p.m. inside the new Performing Arts Center at Pioneer Valley High School.

The students will be honored for earning scholarships, language reclassifications, "computer connections", receiving certificates from elected officials and meeting "school learning outcomes". The talent show features six different students performing guitar solos, guitar/vocal songs, a rap, piano solo and a guitar duet.

“It’s an awesome beautiful event featuring our best students,’’ said DHS Math Teacher Jenna Dee.

The evening was organized by 23 students from Dee’s Leadership Class.
