The Santa Maria High School Saints marched to the football field today, Friday, to explore school clubs and learn how alumni makes the most of student activities.
The "March of the Saints" celebration took place from 9:30 a.m. to 11:25 a.m. More than 1,000 students were expected to participate in the rally. The program featured about 20 student booths, as well as athletic and other demonstrations.
“It’s a chance for students to connect with alumni and learn about the choices they have when it comes to participating in sports and activities,’’ said Principal Steve Campbell. “This really has become a wonderful tradition.’’
