Dual Enrollment

Santa Maria Joint Union High School District partners with Allan Hancock College (AHC) and Taft College to offer dual enrollment courses in a variety of content areas. Dual Enrollment allows high school students to take community college courses at their high school campus. Dual Enrollment courses count for high school credit and college credit, while also providing a GPA enhancement similar to Honors and AP courses, and are at no cost to the student. Dual Enrollment courses are offered at each high school along with the Mark Richardson Career Technical Education Center and Agricultural Farm. 

Dual Enrollment requires parent/guardian approval. Please see your counselor for more information and application documents.
